The project

The protection of Nature is one of the fundamental elements of our society. The defence of values such as biodiversity necessarily includes coexistence of human activities with a long tradition as livestock or agriculture.

The PirosLIFE project, in this sense, is launched to consolidate the future the brown bear in the Pyrenees in a framework of dialogue and cooperation with people organizations and institutions that makes possible the development of this mountain territory.

The actions foreseen in the PirosLIFE project aimed at improving the conservation status of an emblematic species while also generating a climate of understanding, participation and coexistence.
