The LIFE program was created in 1992 as an instrument of the European Union (EU) to finance environmental conservation projects, as well as the development of EU environmental policy and legislation.
 
The PirosLife project announces this informative day in commemoration of these 25 years of the Life program with the aim of making known the itineraries of interpretation through the territory of the bear, present the PirosLife pedagogical materials and know the conservation status of the brown bear in the Pyrenees with a talk by Toni Batet.
 
The events will take place in Isil (Pallars Sobirà) on December 30
 
10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Meeting in Isil Square) – Interpretation itinerary by the bear territory 
 
5:30 p.m. (House of the brown bear of the Pyrenees) – Presentation of the pedagogical materials PirosLife
 
6:30 p.m. Talk by Toni Batet – “The brown bear of the Pyrenees”
 
 A small snack will be served at the end of the working day
